The background

Access Partnership is the world’s preeminent tech advisory firm. They’ve been helping leading tech companies navigate complex regulatory challenges and expand their products and services to new markets since 1999. 

 

In this time, they’ve also worked closely with governments to offer advice on creating policies and regulations as the landscape continues to change with new and emerging technologies.

The brief

Access Partnership approached Ergo to develop their brand presence. At the time, they had no logo device to use on their brand collateral, but they were happy with the general feel and message their brand currently had.

We worked with Access Partnership to design a device for them and refine their brand guidelines. We then rolled this out across all brand collateral and literature including a PowerPoint presentation template, Metaverse report, an icon library and all business stationery.

The Process

Beginning with the creation of the brief and initial client meeting, the Ergo team worked closely with Access Partnership to create various design ideas and iterations, collaborating during each phase to arrive at a design style that elevated and enhanced the existing Access Partnership brand identity.

Access Partnership were looking to the Ergo team for their total expertise and guidance. We were given almost complete design freedom, meaning Access Partnership was able to take advantage of our creativity and we had the opportunity to provide them with ideas beyond anything they could have imagined.

During the project, Ergo was able to build a strong relationship with Access Partnership, and despite having an in-house designer, Access Partnership still works with us on various design projects regularly, beyond this initial project they engaged us in.

The team

Working with Parm Nagra and Luca O’Neill on the Access Partnership team, the Ergo team consisted of Kristina, Beatrice, Josh and Abbi. Kristina was the main point of contact throughout the project, as well as the lead designer on their Tech Report, Metaverse Report, infographics and illustrations, and she designed a variation on their logo for their new Tech Policy Exchange yearly event that was coming up.

Josh created an intro and outro animation that they can include at the beginning and end of any video content they produce in future. Abbi created social media images for them to use on their social channels.

We then worked with them on their annual Technology Report, a large-scale report document that constitutes their biggest gathering of data across the year and all areas of the technology industry.

The result

Access Partnership were so happy with the results of the brand refresh, they decided to shelve their plans to have a full rebrand in the next two years - saving the client money and improving brand recognition and awareness for their customers.

The results of working with Ergo were hugely beneficial to Access Partnership. After we re-designed the report, they received over 200 downloads of the document within the first two weeks alone. Their previous report, brought out the year before they engaged Ergo to work with them on design, received less than 400 downloads across the entire year.

They also received positive feedback from their clients Amazon and Google, who commented on how impressed they were by the design of the report.
